- AMF works exceptionally well for emerging Presbyopes in their younger years (45-50years)
- AMF will provide less for near vision for older higher add patients. (50+ years)
- Highly recommended that the AMF lens is fit for low 50s and younger
- It is important to not over minus the patient when using a AMF lens
- If the patient is older, it should be considered to add a bit of plus to the non dominate eye (+.25-.50)
- If the patient is mid 50s+ and have a greater eye +2.50 it should be considered to use a center add in the non dominate eye and a AMF in the dominant eye.
- Center add lens can cause a slight reduction of clarity at distance or shadowing at reading.
